But I had a crappy day yesterday and I had the feeling that today would be another winner (and, yes, I was right) so last night I gave myself permission to do a "repeat" of an outfit that I blogged some time last year. Horrors! Here's a side-by-side of the two outfits:
These are not actually the same pair of pants, but they may as well be. And, man, looking at that photo on the right is really making me doubt my decision to grow my hair out! But I'm going to be brave and stick with it for a little while. (Also I like how it looks like Old Me and Now Me are glancing at each other.)
This striped tank top is one of those things that I literally only wear with this exact, precise combination. It just doesn't seem to fit with anything else. But I was really taken with the combination of pale pink and orange stripes, and I like the structure of it. It's snug on the ribcage and then floats away from the body (I still feel like Stacy London every time I say that) over the tummy, which is super.
Because of problems with my knees and ankle, I'm still on restricted duty as far as shoes go, but it was no great loss, as I love these little square-toed flats. And, bonus, they're really comfortable.
